The Broken Pavement Ride
Rain, wind, or shine. You're coming with us! Starting this Saturday and every Saturday morning. Meet at the LuckyBean Stratford. Leaving 8am sharp! 30-40km in length.

Dress appropriately. Gravel bikes highly recommended.

CPEI Stratford Women's Road Ride

Come out and join us for a no-drop ride that will work on group riding skills development. No experience riding in a group is required but you should be able to ride 20 km in an hour or less. Each week we will focus on a new skill and reinforce skills from the previous week.

This is a no-drop ride with no woman left behind! We will have multiple pace groups ranging from 20kph to 32kph. For those looking for some extra fitness, individuals can take longer pulls on the front, or there will be an opportunity for some sprints/regroup on some rides.

Learn to Road Ride Clinic
If you are new to road riding or want to brush up on your road cycling skills, Ted's is hosting weekly Learn to Road Ride Clinics every Tuesday night leaving the from Ted's shop 6pm sharp.
Learn to:
Proper pace lining in group rides.
Gear shifting management.
Hill climbing efficiency.
Ride safety and awareness.
Riders must be Cycling PEI members. Riders must be able to hold speeds of 21-24 kph and distances of 30-40 km.

Fall Gravel Rides
Enjoy some fall gravel riding by joining in some group rides. Riding pace 20-24 kph.
Wednesday nights from Ted's Bicycle Studio. Ride leaves at 6:00pm sharp. Be sure to equip your bike with high vis lights to light up the trail. Riding length 40km.

Saturday mornings 8:00am sharp. Riding length 40-60km. Meet at the Lucky Bean Cafe Stratford

Looking for some Gravel Bike Routes? Challenge yourself to our #dustyredgravelgrider ride maps

Loop 1: “Big Dusty” is a 77 km ride to the Dromore region featuring the scenic, narrow red clay lanes that circle the Dromore hiking trails. You will also pass by the Spirit Spring on Dromore Road. This ride consists of a combination of gravel roads, paved roads, and the Confederation Trail .

This ride will have two start times: 8:30 am for riders expecting to average 20-24 kph (expect your average speed to be 3-5 kph slower than on pavement); and 9am for riders expecting to average 25+ kph. There will be a feed station at the 44 km mark.

If you want to stretch your legs, there will be two optional timed segments via Strava:

  1. The K/QOM Segment features a long climb out of the heart of the Dromore Woodlands.
  2. The Mud Segment features a wet and wild dash down a well-used dirt farm road. Don't like mud? The next cross road down is a much drier alternative.

Loop 2: “Little Dusty” is a 37 km ride down the Confederation Trail to the Village Green and Klondike gravel roads in Lake Verde. This ride is primarily on the Confederation Trail or red clay roads with two short segment of pavement.
